Digital Textile Congress
Unitex, the National Association of (technical) executives of the textile industry in Belgium, is organizing a two-day Digital Textile Congress. The conference will deal with digital finishing, printing and coating technologies as well as laser engineering.
Gröner’s Rainbow printer moving further ahead
Visitors from over 120 countries ensured that Fespa in Munich, Germany, was the international event for the signmaking and textile industries in 2010. Gröner also benefited from this. Their ‘Rainbow’ direct-to-garment printer is now distributed in 15 European countries and generated a lively interest among many foreign and German textile decorators.

AnaJet has appointed Digitaldruckpartner, under the following companies Farben-Frikell GmbH in Braunschweig, Farben-Frikell GmbH Berlin, WerbeTechnikBedarf GmbH &Co.KG in Dresden, and Ludwig Lockamp oHG in Essen to represent and distribute AnaJet product lines in Germany.
Increase in digital textile printing
A recent study, a joint effort between consultancy Pira International and FESPA, anticipates an increase in digital textile printing between 2009 and 2014 from €114.6 million to just under €1 billion.
New direct-to-garment printer from Walter Schulze
As well as new heat presses, Walter Schulze GmbH presented the new TexJet direct-to-garment printer from Polyprint on their stand at FESPA in Munich, Germany. Following three years of experience in the digital direct-to-garment business, the TexJet will expand the direct printing division, alongside the AnaJet direct-to-garment printer.
M&R’s i-Prep pretreatment system
M&R announces the addition of the new i-Prep to its line of direct-to-garment products. This system automatically pre-treats black and colored garments for direct-to-garment digital printing.
