A lot of activity on all four island demo-stations

The new laser cutter FB 500 from CadCam Technology, England was in the center of attention. As their German agent, Gunold presented the very compact laser cutting and engraving machine and since this type of laser is characterized by its high speed accuracy and stunning production quality it is especially attractive for small businesses as well.

Equally in the center of interest was the demo-station „Diditizing“.Massimo Baezzato from Constitch, the popular instructor for Gunold seminars and workshops, introduced a new concept for digitizing and was available for expert advice and for all questions regarding embroidery digitizing with Wings.

And it goes without saying that the two other demo-stations for embroidery threads and embroidery backings proofed to be central contact points as well. Stephan Gunold states: „The inviting open design of the booth certainly played a major role in attracting interested trade show visitors and we not only increased the number of people visiting our booth but we were again able to almost double the amount of new customers in comparison to the previous show two years ago. Particularly well received was our new range of pre-cut backings since this is a considerable relief in the everyday business of our customers. In addition our new range of seminars for 2014 was met with great interest and the fact that many customers now own multi-head embroidery machines, also make us feel very optimistic about the future.”

The Highlights of the TecStyle Vision 2014 at a Glance

Stiffy- pre-cut backings – saving time, waste and off-cuts at last. On popular demand by its customers, Gunold now offers pre-cut backings. Toolkit 2 – after the successful introduction of Tool kit 1, the handy case with scissors, pincers and seam ripper, Gunold now launches Tool kit 2, an additional clever set for embroidery pros with a sharp surgeon’s knife and a thread hook to easily remove thread snarls in the needle plate. Thread snarls are rare but can be a serious problem when forming a bird’s nest underneath the garment. Sometimes it seems almost impossible to untangle these thread snarls without causing damage to the work piece. Now Tool Kit 2 comes in handy: use the knife to sever the threads, then carefully remove any thread residues underneath the needle plate by guiding the hook between needle plate and bobbin thread case.

Stickprotect – this very soft, stretchy fusible gauze is now available in black. Stick-Protect is ironed to the wrong fabric side to completely cover the finished embroidery design thus preventing irritating of the skin. Since Stickprotect is now available in black and white it can be used for both, dark and bright fabric colors alike.
