For ten years now, cameo Laser Franz Hagemann GmbH has been the exclusive distributer partner of the US laser manufacturer Epilog. The traditional cameo Laser Franz Hageman GmbH company has just celebrated its 85th anniversary and now there is a new anniversary coming up: 10 years of partnership with the US laser manufacturer Epilog.
The company has been distributing the systems of the American company since 2005 and for good reason: “Epilog has for 20 years now been producing high-quality machines and develops in-house flexible solutions for plenty of application possibilities. With these products in the portfolio, we are always one step ahead,” explains Torsten Herbst, Managing Director of cameo Laser Franz Hagemann GmbH.
Epilog Fusion
Epilog developed for example the first flatbed laser and still sets the standard in the market with a large list of novelties. “The Epilog Fusion is still the only laser machine worldwide that is compatible with Apple computers,” says Torsten Herbst. The enhanced model Fusion 32 M2 is equipped with the e-View camera system, which consists of three cameras. With these, the pressure and the cut are combined to the highest precision and with an unprecedented speed. The Fusion 32 M2 combines two laser sources – CO2 and fibre laser – in one single system. The device changes if required during the same process automatically between the two wavelengths. This enables the operator to process a material mix, for example wood and metal or acrylic and stainless steel, in a single working process.
The start of the partnership with Epilog was an important milestone in the history of the company. The company developed from a distributer of computer-controlled engraving machines and embraced the laser technique in 1997. Today, the company is the exclusive distributer partner of Epilog, not only in Germany but also in Austria, Belgium and Holland. The staff also offer, besides repairs and maintenance services, laser know-how in training and workshops – and all this over nine sites. For help and exchange of experiences, the company has also launched a user forum, where experts and new users meet.
Journey to Denver
On the occasion of the successful 10-year collaboration with Epilog, cameo Laser will be holding a draw on 31 December of this year to win a trip to Denver, Colorado (USA). Everyone who buys an Epilog laser system within the coming month can participate in this prize draw. The journey includes flights, seven hotel nights for two persons, hire car and excursions, as well as a guided visit of the Epilog premises with personal machine training.
