Stitch & Print International recently visited De Leveranciersdagen in Utrecht, Holland. This year’s show featured 120 exhibitors and attracted 839 visitors from the promotional product sector.
Awards
On the evening of the first show day, the winners of the ‘Supplier of the Year’ and ‘De Leverancier van het Jaar’ awards were announced.PF Concept won the ‘Supplier of the Year 2014’ award, and the ‘Leverancier van het Jaar 2014’ award was won by Interimage. During the show Serge Mertens, Director Benelux of PF Concept Benelux, proudly showed the award-winning certificate to all visitors.
Garment collections
Borduur Quality Service displayed the latestJames & Nicholson fashion collection as well as the 1 Art of Towel towel collection. “In October we will launch our webshop,” said Joshua Lopez, owner of the company. “This new webshop makes the ordering process for our customers much easier.”
Textielgroep Holland showed the Uni-wear collection consisting of a large variety of items such as fleece jackets, sweaters, polo shirts and caps. “We see a growing demand for custom-made garments growing,” says Bart Oerlemans, Director of the company.
Machines
Pals Print & Screen displayed the Brother GT-381 digital textile-printing machine with new RIP software. The RIP software makes it possible to print very realistic colours. Also on show was the Barudan single-head machine from the BEVT series.
Tajima Europe showed the single-head TUMX-C series, which was launched at the beginning of 2014. “This machine is very suitable for the embroidery of large articles, such as bags for example,” says Jan Meirlaen. 
Bags
Halfar System GmbH and Joytex showed their latest promotional bags collections.

De Leveranciersdagen 2015 will take place on 2 and 3 September 2015.
