Laser-Engraving

A versatile tool

cameo Laser Franz Hagemann GmbH will be showing how to add value to promotional articles by laser technique at the Merchandising Messe 2015 in Hamburg, Germany.

“Bags, key fobs and coffee mugs, fleece jackets and caps or sound storage media, electronic and communication devices – all these products and many more can quickly be decorated by laser technology with a logo, a club emblem or a promotional message. Our devices can handle different materials, such as wood, leather, plastic, glass and acrylic. This is crucial for suppliers of merchandising products because they usually have a large portfolio of varied articles,” says Elmar Nöelle, Media Contact at cameo. With his team he will present the CO₂-Laser Zing at the trade show.

The all-round machine of the cameo family engraves and customises promotional articles on demand in one single process and adds value. “It is, for example, possible to decorate a pen with an emblem of a club and furthermore with the personal name of a club member or an athlete. With little effort you can attract a lot of attention,” explains Elmar Nöelle.

Textile decoration

The focus of the demonstrations will be on the processing of textiles. Laser is ideal for applying a durable branding effect on fleece, softshell, velvet or even on jeans. “The tone-in-tone look matches the current trends perfectly – special effects are in high demand for sales promotion. Also, rhinestone applications are part of this and can be easily and quickly applied with the laser systems from our company,” stresses Nöelle.

Especially valuable for the marketing and merchandising industry: all cameo lasers can be seamlessly connected to current computer systems and are as easy to operate as printers. The latest device in the portfolio, the Fusion, is compatible with Apple Mac computers. “With this, users of laser technology can save costs because there is no need for technical modifications,” adds Nöelle.
